Job Summary
The organization is seeking an Emergency Department Nurse located in Salem, Virginia. This position involves providing specialized nursing care in an emergency department setting. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details

• Location: Salem, Virginia
• Shift: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/13/2026
• Required Qualifications: ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course); Virginia (or valid state license), 0 years of experience, ability to care for critically ill patients, ED nursing experience, EMR experience with GE EMR and Meditech systems
• Preferred Qualifications: ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
• Additional Information: Unit has 8 beds with a combination of day and night staff, including 6 staff members on the day shift and 6 on the night shift. Typical procedures include care for high and low acuity patients, medication administration, and laboratory assessments. The nurse must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
