Job Summary:
An Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit Cardiovascular (ICU OH) is needed at a healthcare facility in St. Louis, Missouri. The position focuses on providing advanced patient care within a Cardiac Medical Intensive Care Unit. Candidates are required to bring their current nursing license on the first day. This role involves working night shifts with a schedule of 12 hours per shift.

Job Details:

• Location: St. Louis, MO
• Shift: Nights, 1900-0730
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours (must be indicated on submission form)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license in Missouri or eligibility for licensure in Missouri, 3 years of experience in Cardiac Medical ICU with inpatient focus, experience with medical ICU patients emphasizing cardiac care (arrhythmias, STEMI, post arrest), BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA, NIHSS certification preferred, minimum of 0 years of experience, location in Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with patients experiencing sepsis, respiratory issues (pneumonia, COVID, ARDS), post cardiac arrest, GI bleed, DKA, PE, renal or liver failure, pancreatitis, overdose, suicidal ideations; comfort with telemetry, Impella, IABP, and CRRT equipment.
• Additional Information: Utilizes the nursing process to evaluate and coordinate patient care, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and performs duties consistent with the facilitys mission and standards. The role includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, and collaboration with ancillary departments to maximize patient outcomes.
• Vaccinations: Flu vaccination is required, with Mercy-approved exemption necessary for travel from November 1 to April 1. Declinations are not accepted.
