Job Summary:
This is a Behavioral Health position located in Richmond, Virginia, at a facility dedicated to mood disorder treatment. The role involves supporting patient care within a unit that serves various populations, including adult, substance abuse, and child/adolescent patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Richmond, VA
• Position: Behavioral Health Technician
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Shift times include night shifts and day shifts.
• Required Qualifications: CPR certification, CPI certification, flexibility to float to all units of Tucker Pavilion (adult, substance abuse, child/adolescent), at least 0 years of experience, relevant behavioral health experience, Med/Surg experience, experience with higher acuity populations.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with higher acuity populations is preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • Unit information includes approximately 28 beds with staffing varying by shift.
  • Typical procedures include behavioral health assessments, medication administration, admissions, and discharges.
  • Equipment used includes oxygen and Dinamap.
  • Patient ratios range from 7 to 10.
  • Dress code is navy scrub attire.
  • Weekends are scheduled every other week with no on-call requirement.
  • This position is created to fill a vacant role.
