• Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (B.S.N.), Associate's degree (A.D.N.) or Diploma from an accredited college of nursing; Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska; Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification; Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification (for RNs assigned to the Obstetrics Department)
• Physical Demands: Regular use of hands for handling objects; frequent sitting, standing, and walking; occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, or balancing; ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently and more than 100 pounds occasionally; requires close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment vision abilities.
• Work Environment: Frequently near moving mechanical parts; exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and risk of electrical shock; occasionally working with chemicals; moderate noise level; exposure to blood-borne pathogens.
