Job Summary:
The profession is Nursing with a specialty in Labor and Delivery, located in Palm Springs, California. This position involves providing direct clinical care to patients in the labor and delivery unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and compassionate maternal and neonatal care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of assignment.
Job Details:
- Location: Palm Springs, California
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; experience in labor and delivery nursing or related field; ability to work nights; California state licensure preferred
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with patient ratios of 1:4; familiarity with hospital protocols and ED/HCF environment; CPR certification
- Additional Information: The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role supports the facility Chief Nursing Officer in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, clinical staff competency, and resource management related to patient care.
