Job Summary: Telemetry Registered Nurse Billings, Montana
A Registered Nurse in Telemetry provides independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care; collecting and analyzing health data; and documenting care according to hospital and regulatory guidelines. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

Schedule: Nights, 12 shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice; Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association (AHA)); ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) or graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; ability to perform essential nursing duties satisfactorily as described in the position responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse; certification as appropriate for unit or service; Bachelors degree of Nursing
Performs independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards
Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care
Evaluates health status through ongoing collection and assessment of health data
Provides health teaching and health counseling
Provides supportive and restorative therapy and treatment, either directly or through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching of others
Executes delegated medical functions and refers patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines and uses resources as needed
May be required to float to other departments (within scope of competency and qualifications) based on business need
May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
