Description

Operating Room Open Heart (Open Heart), Pediatrics Dallas, TX
A healthcare professional is needed for a pediatric open heart operating room role with a dedicated pediatric cardiac service focus. The schedule is primarily 6:30 AM5:00 PM with rotating, self-scheduling call. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

Schedule: Days shift (6:30 AM5:00 PM) with call; 40 hours per week
On-Call Requirement: Yesrotating and self-scheduling call coverage
Required Qualifications: Operating room experience with cardiac experience; pediatric CVOR preferred
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in pediatric CVOR; pediatric CVOR scrub skills
Responsibilities: Support pediatric open heart surgical care for congenital heart patients, including operating room and related procedures such as bedside sternal closures and washout procedures in the ICU
Additional Information: The role supports a dedicated pediatric CVOR team with close collaboration across pediatric cardiac service line areas, including pediatric cath lab, echocardiography, and pre/post-anesthesia unit teams
