Job Summary
Telemetry Nurse Alexandria, LA. This position involves providing patient care within a telemetry unit that primarily serves cardiac and telemetry patients. The role requires independent nursing practice, adherence to clinical standards, and the ability to manage complex patient needs. This is a full-time opportunity with an immediate start date.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (preferred), 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty (preferred), RN License in Louisiana or a compact state, BLS certification from AHA required, ACLS certification from AHA required
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in telemetry or cardiac care preferred
• Float: Float rotation may be required
• Additional Information: All newly hired experienced RNs must attend New Nurses Orientation within the first 30 days of hire. Orientation includes precepted training, competency validation, and annual competency requirements. The unit includes patients with cardiac and telemetry needs and is not a step-down unit. Temp-to-perm opportunities are not available for this position.
