Job Summary
Labor And Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse (RN) Arcadia, CA
This travel assignment supports Labor and Delivery services for the healthcare provider. Responsibilities include caring for laboring patients, supporting cesarean section care, and assisting with triage as needed according to acuity. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: 3 x 12s nights, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM; minimum 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Advanced Fetal Monitoring; minimum 3 (three) years of Labor and Delivery (L&D) experience; experience with laboring patients, cesarean section patients, and triage
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with laboring patients, cesarean section patients, and triage
- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Nurse-to-patient ratio varies according to acuity (1:1 or 1:2). Patient diagnoses commonly include laboring patients and cesarean section.
- Hours/Holidays: Travelers are required to work two of the three major holidays listed: Thanksgiving/Day after Thanksgiving; Christmas Eve/Christmas Day; New Years Eve/New Years Day.
- Clinical onboarding/vaccinations: Full vaccination with the current seasons flu vaccine is required during flu season (required November 1st May 30th). The facility accepts signed personal or medical exemptions; masks are required for individuals who choose exemption. COVID-19 vaccination is not required, but strongly recommended.
- Submission requirements: The facility requires references.
