Description

Job Summary: Telemetry Medical Surgical Float Nurse Ithaca, NY. This position is a bedside nursing role with float responsibilities across ICU, Med/Surg/Tele, and ED areas of competence. The healthcare provider will deliver direct patient care in an environment requiring Epic experience. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum 36.0 hours per week; every other weekend and every other holiday.
Required Qualifications: Active nursing license; Epic experience; minimum 2 years ICU experience (competency area); minimum 1 year Med/Surg/Tele experience (competency area); minimum 2 years ED experience with triage experience (competency area); float readiness based on having at least 2 of the 3 areas of competence listed.
Additional Information: Float position across ICU, Med/Surg/Tele, and ED; triage experience required for ED competency area; charge nurse experience is preferred for the ED competency area.
