Job Summary: Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MS Tele) Registered Nurse (RN) Nights, Sparks, Nevada. This role provides competent, capable, caring, and efficient nursing care for patients requiring medical-surgical services with telemetry monitoring. Responsibilities include performing initial and ongoing assessments, completing admission assessments within required timeframes, and documenting patient care in alignment with licensure, certification, training, and applicable regulatory requirements. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3 x 12s nights; minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; current state or compact nursing license; current National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 2+ years full-time Medical Surgical with Telemetry (Med Tele) experience in an acute care setting

  • Makes initial assessments and determines appropriate nursing needs for assigned patients, supported by appropriate documentation
  • Completes initial and ongoing assessments on assigned patients, including review of systems, supported by appropriate documentation
