Description

Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position in Washington, DC. This role involves providing high-quality postpartum and mother-baby care based on patient-centered nursing practices. The nurse will support patients undergoing vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and gynecological surgeries, ensuring safe, competent care in accordance with facility policies and standards. Candidates must have verified Cerner experience, current licensure, and at least two years of related experience.

Job Details:

  • Location: Washington, District of Columbia
  • Schedule: 12-hour day shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district; verified Cerner experience; ACLS, NRP, BLS certifications; graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN preferred; minimum of 2 years postpartum/mother-baby experience; must live at least 50 miles from the facility.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with labor and delivery patients, including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and gynecological surgeries.
  • Additional Information: The role requires a minimum of two years' experience, with a focus on postpartum and mother-baby care. Candidates should demonstrate professionalism, service excellence, and leadership in patient care.
