Description

Registered Nurse Postpartum/Mother Baby (Days) Washington, DC

A Registered Nurse is needed to provide safe, competent postpartum/mother baby nursing care for patients including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and GYN surgery. The role supports a patient-centered care approach while demonstrating service excellence standards and fulfilling patient care needs in accordance with current licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Days (3 x 12s); 36 hours per week minimum
  • Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district; Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN (highly desired); Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Verified Cerner experience; Minimum 2 years of experience (postpartum/mother baby experience required)
  • Preferred Qualifications: Postpartum/mother baby experience; BSN
  • Additional Information: Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team; performs a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy; supports the healthcare needs of patients, families, and the community
