Description
Job Summary:
Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Austin, Texas. This contract position supports perioperative care within an Operating Room environment. Responsibilities include assisting with surgical services across multiple specialties, working effectively within a team model, and maintaining clinical readiness in accordance with facility procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; CST certification (as stated); Neuro/Spine experience; Cardiac experience (for the Cardiac service line); availability for Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (06301900); and call coverage for 4 to 5 shifts per 6-week period (minimum) and 4 to 5 late shifts per 6-week period, with weekend shifts available.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience aligned with multiple service lines, including ortho, neuro, general, and robotic cases (preferred).
- Additional Information: The Operating Room is not a trauma hospital and supports multiple surgical specialties, including robotics, cardiac, vascular, neuro, spine, oncology, orthopedics, plastics, urology, and GYN. The role supports operating across 22 Operating Rooms, with one team in house at all times and a typical staff model that includes RN coverage and surgical technicians.
