Description

ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Lebanon, New Hampshire

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) position supports critically ill patients by providing advanced bedside nursing care and assisting with complex invasive monitoring and therapies. This role involves caring for patients who may require ventilatory support, hemodynamic monitoring, and vasoactive medications. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

Schedule: Rotating shift; 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (American Heart Association (AHA) only); arterial line experience required.
Preferred Qualifications: Critical care experience; advanced hemodynamic monitoring; intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring (SICU/NCCU); care of ventilated patients; experience with pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications; assisting with line insertion and maintenance; experience with lines/tubes/drains for post-surgical patients; experience with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and external ventricular drains (EVD) (SICU/NCCU/PICU); experience with pulmonary artery (PA) lines and waveform interpretation.
