Job Summary:
A Certified Operating Room Technician (OR Tech) specializing in surgery located in Austin, TX. This contract position involves working in a busy Operating Room environment with a focus on neuro/spine procedures and cardiac cases. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. The role involves day shifts and requires flexibility, teamwork, and self-direction.

Job Details:

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: CST certification, 3+ years of experience, 1 year of travel experience, and experience in Neuro/Spine and Cardiac procedures.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with call requirements of 4 to 5 shifts per 6-week period, including late shifts and weekend shifts.
• Preferred Qualifications: Candidates with experience in multiple service lines such as ortho, neuro, general, robotic, and familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
• Additional Information: The unit has 22 operating rooms and a staff of 80, including surgical technicians and registered nurses. The environment emphasizes teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude. The facility offers permanent positions on the unit, and the team includes experienced staff with low turnover, transitioning some contract staff to permanent roles.
