Job Summary
Operating Room Open Heart (CVOR) Surgical Technologist in Bangor, Maine. This role supports cardiovascular operating room services, assisting with procedures including CABG, AVR, MVR, and ascending aortic repairs. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift (10-hour shifts), 40 hours per week, operating 24/7 for CVOR services. Weekend rotation is 1 weekend day per 4-week schedule, and Surgical Technologists may work more than 1 weekend day; weekend assignment will be the day the candidate is hired into (Saturday or Sunday, not both).
- Required Qualifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS); Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred but not required; minimum 1-year CVOR experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: At least 1 travel assignment.
- Additional Information: Assisting with cardiovascular case types and remaining comfortable wearing lead. Major holidays are celebrated in this operating room.
