Description

Job Summary: Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician (ORT) Glendale, Arizona. The surgical technologist provides support in the OR/Pre-Post setting, assisting with surgical cases that may include robotic procedures. This role requires maintaining sterile technique and supporting safe perioperative workflow, with candidates required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

Schedule: 8-hour days plus call, varied start times; Saturday and Sunday call every 56 weeks with one call day per week.
Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA); Certified Surgical Technologist (CST); minimum 2 years of experience in surgical technology; license to be brought on the first day.
Preferred Qualifications: Robotic experience managing robotic arms and assisting with suturing, mesh placement, flushing, and related robotic case support.
Additional Information: OR/Pre/Post unit support; potential case mix includes bariatric, pediatrics, endoscopy, and some patients with ICU-level background helpful; charge nurse coverage is available for OR and PACU; sterile support includes nurse aides and sterile processing techs; charting systems include Cerner and Surginet; floating to other OR locations may be required; floor orientation includes 2 days on the floor; scrubs color is provided.
