Job Summary: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER) Tuscaloosa, Alabama
Emergency Department Registered Nurse coverage is needed to support 24/7 emergency medical services for patients across all age groups. The role involves providing direct patient care within a clinical team of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights; 12 hours per shift; minimum 36 hours per week (may work 36 or 48 hours per week as needed).
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Alabama or a Compact license (no temporary licenses accepted); an Associate degree in nursing; American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); AHA Basic Life Support (BLS); AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) or Red Cross certification; Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC); must have at least 2 years of experience in Emergency Room/related specialty, with consideration of 18 months of experience when working under the highest level of professional licensure, and must have 2 years of recent experience in the field of specialty.

- Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
- Additional Information: Holidays as required; every other weekend; on-site Meditech electronic medical record support; must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
