Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Registered Nurse (MS) in Kodiak, Alaska. The role provides patient-focused care in an acute care medical center setting. Candidates must bring their RN license on the first day to be eligible for onboarding.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating days or nights, 3x12 variable shifts; minimum 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/20/2026
• Required Qualifications: Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (preferred); 1 year of experience; charting experience with Epic
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• Responsibilities: Provide Medical Surgical Floor care, including monitoring and management of telemetry needs; perform skills including blood product administration, central line care/management, chest tubes/emerson/pleur evac support, intravenous (IV) insulin protocol support, and heparin protocol support; interpret dysrhythmias and manage dysrhythmias as appropriate; support postmyocardial infarction (Post MI) care and cerebrovascular accident (CVA) needs; initiate, start, and maintain IVs; perform phlebotomy; support care across MS/Tele and stepdown-level needs as applicable
• Weekend Coverage: Weekend shifts required
• Holidays: Willing to work 2 out of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Additional Information: Traveler may be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.
