Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in an acute care setting, providing comprehensive patient care on the medical-surgical floor. The role involves delivering competent, age-appropriate nursing care in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory standards to serve a diverse patient population.

Job Details

• Position Description: Must live 100 miles away. 3 x 12-hour day shifts. Fulfills the needs of the patients, families, and community by performing a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements. Delivers care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. Applies knowledge of growth and development over the lifespan necessary to provide age-appropriate care. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret patient information to determine nursing needs. Performs initial and ongoing assessments on all assigned patients, including reviews of systems, with documentation. Completes admission assessments within designated timeframes according to policies and procedures.
• Required Qualifications: Licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district. Med/Surg experience: 2 years. Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree is highly desired.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week starting on 09/21/2026 through 12/19/2026.
• Additional Information: NIHSS, BLS, and ACLS certifications are required. CPI certification is required with training from the Crisis Prevention Institute's NCI with Advanced Physical Skills Training course.
