Job Summary
Pre-Op Registered Nurse (RN) Arlington, Texas. The organization is seeking a travel RN for Same Day Surgery in a pre-op setting, supporting patient flow and preparation for scheduled procedures. This role emphasizes strong intravenous (IV) access skills and effective collaboration with the surgical team. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 9:30A6P, with a minimum of 40 hours per week (MF; no weekends)
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) license; strong IV start skills; collaboration skills
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous pre-op/phase II experience (across all surgical service lines, including cath lab); strong IV start skills; leadership/proactive and assertive approach
- Additional Information: Travel assignment in a day surgery unit; unit operates with day staffing and defined midshift coverage; typical patient ratio is 1:3; Meidtech electronic medical record (EMR) system is used; no on-call requirement; no floating requirement
