RN, Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nights in Florence, Alabama
An RN specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) is needed for an overnight shift to provide postpartum care and support laboring patients with fetal monitoring and assessment. Responsibilities include emergency response, time management, and delivering individualized postpartum care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights (7p7a), 12 shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Current RN licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) or ALS-OB; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (EFM); minimum of 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery (L&D)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience and skills related to fetal monitoring and assessment, emergency response, postpartum care, and time management
• Responsibilities:
  • Perform fetal monitoring and assessment
  • Provide emergency response when clinically indicated
  • Deliver postpartum care
  • Manage time and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery environment
  • Support care for common Labor and Delivery presentations, including normal spontaneous labor, preterm labor, gestational hypertension, preeclampsia, placenta previa, placental abruption, fetal distress, umbilical cord prolapse, and postpartum hemorrhage
• Float: Float: Postpartum rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Weekly orientation is held on Mondays
  • Patient ratio target is 1:1
