Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse (OB) Richmond, Virginia. The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to support Labor and Delivery and Nursery care needs. This role includes providing nursing care for obstetric patients and supporting nursery coverage, including floating to Nursery and Post-Partum as required. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 shift hours; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); Intermediate fetal monitoring or above; STABLE for nursery; minimum experience requirement of 1 year to 18 months.
• Preferred Qualifications: General OB Labor and Delivery (L&D) and Nursery care experience.
• Additional Information: Float to Nursery and Post-Partum may be required if units close due to census. The OB unit generally has low volume (less than 15 deliveries per month). Weekend coverage is 7p7a.
