Description

Job Summary: Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Floor (MS REHAB) Richmond, VA
The organization is seeking a registered nurse for an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit. The role supports med pass and basic medical-surgical nursing within a rehab environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

Schedule: Days shift; 12 shift hours; minimum 36.0 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Active nursing license; SNF (skilled nursing facility) background; ability to function as a team player with a positive attitude; experience with med-surgical or telemetry nursing; comfort with EMR (electronic medical records).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation setting and familiarity with unit-based rehab nursing needs may be considered first.
Additional Information: Unit environment includes patient equipment and care needs such as Hoyer lifts, IVs, PEGs, trachs, and wound care; patient and tech staffing ratios are described as 56:1 for techs and 1015:1 overall, depending on shift coverage.
