Description

Oncology Nurse, Bone Marrow Transplant Unit Dallas, TX
The organization is seeking an Oncology Nurse for the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit in Dallas, Texas. This role supports patients requiring oncology care, including chemotherapy administration and transplant-related services, while maintaining safety-focused bedside shift reporting and rounds. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

Schedule: Nights, 12 shift hours, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Oncology nursing experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Competency to administer chemotherapy
Preferred Qualifications: Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) experience; Ability to read telemetry; Ability to monitor simple titration of drips
Responsibilities: Provide bedside shift report and complete safety rounds; Manage team up and maintain a No Pass Zone safety approach; Demonstrate excellent assessment skills; Support oncology care at a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) level of care; Perform transplant services including related, unrelated, haplo-match, and mismatch donor processes and support CAR-T therapies (as applicable to unit operations)
