Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role involves providing specialized care in the Labor and Delivery department of a healthcare facility. The position emphasizes patient-centered care with a focus on supporting maternal and neonatal health, utilizing advanced skills and adhering to unit-specific protocols.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid license in hand at the time of submission, Certifications including Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring (C-EFM), Basic Life Support (BLS); 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. Location requirements applicable.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with nursery or Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is a plus.
• Procedures performed on unit: Variations, circumcisions, cesarean sections
• Certifications Required: NRP, C-EFM, BLS
• Additional Information: The selected candidate will be part of a team-oriented environment that offers advanced equipment and technology, with an emphasis on patient experience. The unit values staff tenure and experience and fosters a supportive atmosphere. Doulas and massage therapy are available upon patient request.
