Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) Springfield, Missouri
The organization is seeking an RN for the Operating Room (OR) to provide direct patient care across all age groups. This role supports patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation while coordinating activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Evenings, 4x10 (10:30am9:00pm); minimum hours per week: 40
• Required Qualifications: Current RN license meeting eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri; Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of OR experience, including Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience; teaching hospital experience considered; scrub and OR circulator experience
• Additional Information: Night shift orientation occurs on day shift, and availability is required for the entire week. Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, maintaining professional accountability, coordinating care with other departments, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and performing duties consistent with the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and established service standards. Call requirements may be any day scheduled, averaging around 5 or less per 8 weeks; weekend hours as required by the facility. Float: Float rotation may be required.
