Telemetry Medical Surgical (Tele MS Float) Registered Nurse (RN) Hickory, North Carolina
Telemetry Medical Surgical Float (Tele MS Float) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Hickory, North Carolina. The role supports generalized cardiac patients across an assigned telemetry unit and may occasionally require floating to adjacent units as needed. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

Schedule: Nights (12-hour shifts), minimum 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Associate degree; Minimum 2 years of experience; familiarity with Life Pak, Zoll, and Masimo
Preferred Qualifications: Cerner experience
Responsibilities: Provide telemetry-based care for generalized cardiac patients ranging from young adult to elderly adults; assist with pre- and post-care for cardiac procedures (groin and radial); care for diagnoses such as chest pain, atrial fibrillation, congestive heart failure (CHF), and related cardiac conditions; may occasionally be required to float to IMCU, NPCU, and/or Surgical
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required
