MS ONC Medical Surgical Oncology (Plano, TX)
A Medical Surgical Oncology (MS ONC) Registered Nurse role is available in Plano, Texas. The position supports a medical oncology unit with typical patient ratios of 5:1 or 6:1 maximum, and requires strong bedside care skills alongside Medical Surgical experience. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS); Medical Surgical (Med Surg) experience; Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience with Meditech
- Preferred Qualifications: Oncology experience
- Additional Information: The unit has an assigned patient care model of 5:1 or 6:1 maximum. Typical procedures performed on the unit include GI procedures and gyn onc procedures. On-unit expectations include arriving by 6:45 am/pm and attending huddles at 6:53 am/pm. No on-call requirement is listed.
