Job Summary: ICU Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU), Englewood, Colorado A travel Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU)/Critical Care setting, supporting complex clinical needs. Responsibilities include delivering safe, timely nursing care while collaborating with the care team to manage critically ill patients. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Registered Nursing (RN) license; Minimum 1-year current acute care ICU hospital experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Basic Life Support (BLS); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with medical ICU and neuro population; prior Meditech experience.
• Responsibilities: Provide nursing care for critically ill patients in an ICU/CCU unit; utilize cardiac monitoring and ventilator support as needed; administer medications and manage care using IV pumps and tube feed pumps; assist with and/or perform patient care tasks including intubations and central line placement; maintain documentation within Meditech as part of care coordination; collaborate as a team player within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Additional Information: Type of equipment includes cardiac monitoring, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps. Patient ratio is 1 RN to 2 patients.
