Medical Surgical Floor (MS) Registered Nurse Nights | Sioux City, IA

The organization is seeking a Medical Surgical Floor (MS) traveler for a Nights assignment in Sioux City, Iowa. The traveler will contribute professional and clinical knowledge as part of an interdisciplinary team to support the provision and management of patient care. The role may include floating within the same discipline across local campuses, and candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week (every other weekend).
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association (AHA)) certification; state license (Iowa); at least 2 years of Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) experience; Epic experience; drivers license; completion of a skills checklist within 1 year of the submission date; heparin dip experience (preferred); submission of required documents including a work history/resume; license verification; copy of required certifications; one supervisory reference required at time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Heparin dip experience.
• Additional Information: The traveler may be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses. Summer holiday coverage is required, including working 12 of 3 holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day). On-call participation may be required, as described by the assignment.
