Job Summary
Hospice Nurse Hospice (ALBANY, Oregon)
The organization is seeking a Hospice Nurse to provide patient and family support during the final stages of illness, including care in home and home-like settings. Responsibilities include intermittent skilled nursing services with pain and symptom management, coordination of medical social services, counseling and spiritual support, and support through hospice aides and volunteers. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Rotating shifts with 12 hours per shift and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Current unencumbered Oregon RN licensure required upon submission; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers (Healthcare Provider Level BLS) required; valid drivers license required; auto liability/property damage insurance as required by law required; ability to maintain the vehicle in good working order.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and/or previous home health (HH)/Hospice or case management experience preferred; previous broad-based nursing experience to ensure specialized skills needed for home health (HH)/Hospice nursing preferred.
- Additional Information: This position requires the use of the employees personal automobile. A start date of 07/06/2026 is indicated.
