Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR) Hackensack, New Jersey. The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver evidence-based nursing practices in support of safe, individualized patient care within Interventional Radiology. Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, point-of-care documentation, patient and family-centered education, and coordinated discharge planning. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: 7:00 AM3:30 PM, MondayFriday (8 shift hours), with a minimum of 32 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse licensure via NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or a multi-state compact license; Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association (AHA); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS); Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN); Telemetry; Pre-OP; PACU; PALS; conscious sedation; 6+ months of relevant nursing experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs; strong accountability for improving the lives of patients and caregivers; exceptional focus on teamwork; dedication to ongoing education and ability to deliver high-quality, patient-focused care; 3+ years of PACU experience.
- Additional Information: Preoperative and postoperative Interventional Radiology experience is required, including admission assessment, IV placement, and procedure recovery. Pre-Op and PACU experience is required.
