Description

Job Summary:
The registered nurse (RN) is based in Jacksonville, Florida, and is responsible for providing specialized nursing care within the Operating Room (OR) specialty. Candidates are required to bring their valid state license on the first day. The role involves direct patient care, surgical assistance, and supporting the perioperative team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This position offers an excellent opportunity for experienced OR nurses seeking a travel assignment.

Job Details:

Location: Jacksonville, Florida
Specialty: Operating Room (OR)
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Mon-Fri, 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Graduate of a nursing program; current RN license by applicable state requirements; experience in General Surgery, Gynecology, or Urology Nursing; proficiency in electronic medical records (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) preferred; BLS competency maintained; successfully sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of VisaScreen or equivalent certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level 1 experience; teaching hospital experience; demonstrated leadership and critical thinking skills; ability to scrub and circulate in surgical settings.
Additional Information: This role is eligible for TN sponsorship. Holders of F1 status eligible for post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) are welcome to apply. The position does not participate in the F-1 STEM OPT extension program.
