Job Summary: Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (CCL RN) Easton, Maryland
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Cardiac Cath Lab role. Responsibilities will include supporting cardiac catheterization procedures and related patient care, with the ability to accommodate late shifts and departmental float as needed. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days, 4x10 days (07:0017:30) with 1 scheduled late shift per week (10:0020:30); minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active RN license (Maryland MD or Compact); Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certificate; 3 years of experience in cardiac Cath Lab (will accept first-time travelers with proven background of 3 years in cardiac Cath lab)
• Preferred Qualifications: NIH preferred; prior charge experience; experience with CPI/cardiac Cath Lab procedures within an adult setting; experience with interventional cardiac catheterization workflows (as applicable)
• Float: Floating to pre-op/PACU within unit/specialty as needed
• On-Call: On-call is required; on-call availability must support a within 30-minute arrival time when scheduled (MondayFriday: 17:3007:00; weekends/holidays: 07:0007:00, 24 hours); approximately 1013 call shifts per month
• Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Weekends and holidays are required depending on departmental needs and on-call scheduling
• Patient Population/Unit Focus: Adult patients; common diagnoses include Acute Coronary Syndrome, CHF, STEMI/NSTEMI, AFib, and bradycardia
• Procedures/Clinical Support: Percutaneous Coronary Intervention; pacemaker; Loop monitors; Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE); cardioversions
• Special Equipment/Tools: Balloon pump; IVUS (intravascular ultrasound)
• Additional Unit Support: Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, respiratory services, phlebotomy, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Charting/Systems: Epic is required
• Onboarding/Submission Requirements: Travelers are required to go in for their labs within 72 hours of signing the contract; compliance document deadline is 5 days prior to start; modules are non-billable and factored in NBO
