Job Summary:
An Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) nurse in Bel Air, Maryland, is sought to provide high-quality patient care within a 22-bed unit that primarily handles adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses such as cardiac and respiratory conditions. The position offers a 12-hour shift schedule (days) with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Candidates are required to bring their Maryland (MD) state RN license on the first day of employment.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 3x12 Days (07:00-19:30) required, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active Maryland RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, CPI certifications, and at least 0-3 years of recent ICU or IMCU experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I experience, teaching hospital experience, and EMR experience with Epic or Cerner systems.
• Additional Information: The role involves managing various clinical procedures such as arterial blood gases interpretation, cardiac telemetry, IV management, chest tube care, wound management, and other specialized processes relevant to adult and geriatric patient care. Floating within the scope and within lower acuity units is required; no on-call shifts are scheduled, though pre-scheduled on-call may be used in rare low census situations.
• Vaccinations: Flu vaccine required; no exemptions.
• Submission Requirements: High of submissions = 1, with a focus on candidate readiness and compliance.
