Description

Surgical Technologist (Operating Room Open Heart) Gastonia, North Carolina
The Surgical Technologist will provide support for cardiovascular surgical procedures in the Operating Room (Open Heart) setting, with an emphasis on strong large/acute care cardiovascular OR experience. This role operates on a Days schedule and includes on-call responsibilities. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

Schedule: Days shift with 8 hours per shift; on-call once a week and one weekend per month, beginning at 3:00 PM Friday through 7:00 AM Monday; minimum hours per week: 40.
Required Qualifications: Certified as Surgical Technologist (Surg Tech) by the National Board for Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
Additional Information: Cardiovascular Surgical Technologist experience is required, including strong large/acute care cardiovascular operating room experience. Required to take 1 holiday or day of reduced operation within a 13-week contract.
Preferred Qualifications: Strong large/acute care cardiovascular OR experience.
