Job Summary
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) specialty position located in Vermont. The role involves coordinating total nursing care for patients in a busy healthcare setting, with responsibilities including patient and family education and working cooperatively with interdisciplinary teams. The scheduled shift is nights, with an emphasis on clinical leadership and adaptability within the scope of practice.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2 years recent Medical Surgical and Telemetry experience; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Vermont RN License or Compact licensure; active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; at least one supervisory-signed reference from within the past two years of employment; current skills checklist pertinent to Medical Surgical nursing, valid within the past 12 months; candidate must have their own vehicle as this is a small community without public transport; local travelers residing within 50 miles are not eligible.

- Must be willing to float between acute rehab and Medical Surgical units within scope of practice
- On-call is required; rate to be determined
- Call, holiday, and overtime multipliers apply based on hospital policies
- Multiple RTO requests are to be included in the profile; scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission, as requests after offer may be rescinded
- The assignment begins on 08/03/2026
- All scheduling requests, RTO, and permit details must be included in the provider profile prior to submission
- No block scheduling consideration and no guarantee of a 48-hour schedule
- Call-offs must be communicated at least 1.5 hours in advance, with a maximum of 3 call-offs permitted per contract at the discretion of the facility
