Job Summary
RN (Labor and Delivery/Postpartum) Monroe, NC
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to support Labor and Delivery/Postpartum services in a LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) unit. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive LDRP patient care, supporting newborn care needs, and assisting with procedures such as circulating during cesarean sections. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days, 12-hour shifts; minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM); Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); experience with LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) care including circulating c-sections, newborn care (including heel sticks and 24-hour testing), NAS scoring, and lactation support; ability to support LDRP patient care within the department.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) care and ability to support circulating c-sections.
- Additional Information: Works a weekend rotation every other weekend; no call. Travelers will work 75% of holidays. Floating may be required within Region 2 (Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division) as region needs arise and within scope of practice. Orientation for the role includes 2 days of departmental orientation.
