Description
Job Summary: Certified Operating Room Tech (ORT CERT) Glenwood Springs, Colorado
Certified Operating Room Techs (ORT) support surgical services in an operating room environment and assist with preparation and case support for a variety of specialties. This position requires an active Colorado Certified Surgical Tech (CST) license through DORA, along with current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Rotating shift; 10-hour shifts; minimum 40.0 hours per week, with a schedule of working 4-10s and rotating call.
- Required Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Certified Surgical Tech (CST) license through DORA (required in Colorado)
- Certification in Surgical Technology from the National Board Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or Association of Surgical Technologists (AST) or NCCT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Graduate of an accredited scrub technologist program
- Flu vaccination (proof required)
- Experience with: orthopedic (Ortho) procedures/total joints, neuro/spine, robotics, urology, GYN, ENT, and plastics
- Preferred Qualifications:

- Additional Information:
- Opportunity to join an OR team supporting a Level III trauma center environment.
- Flu vaccine is required with no exemptions.
