Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position available in Torrance, California. This role involves providing specialized perioperative nursing care in a busy acute care hospital setting. Candidates are required to bring their California state license on the first day of assignment. The position is scheduled for day shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, and starts on July 20, 2026.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California state license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 1 year of OR experience, experience with Epic EMR system, and willingness to work a Saturday shift in a 6-week rotation with 2-3 on-call shifts during the same period.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I experience, teaching hospital background, experience with EMR systems such as Cerner and Epic.
• Additional Information: Candidates must be able to float to other units as needed, with possible float to adjacent facilities. Must be committed to working 3 of the 5 major holidays. All travelers are expected to float within the state of California. RTO requests must be included at the time of submission. Dependable references covering at least one year during the last three years are required. COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations are required. The candidates license, background checks, and references must be disclosed and verified prior to assignment approval.
