Job Summary
Registered Nurse (Medical Surgical Floor) Marshall, Michigan
The Registered Nurse will conduct initial and ongoing assessments, develop and update the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, and provide and direct nursing care while evaluating outcomes. The role includes educating patients and family members, documenting care appropriately, and utilizing technology and evidence-based tools while following infection prevention and safety standards. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Education/Training: Not specified
  • License/Certification: Active Michigan RN license; Active Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association (AHA)); Active Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (American Heart Association (AHA)) (must be in hand at profile upload)
  • Experience: 2 years current Medical Surgical experience
• Preferred Qualifications: None specified
• Additional Information:
  • Every other weekend and holidays may be required if needed
  • Participates in unit-based performance improvement activities and staff meetings and supports change
  • Reports actual or potential occurrences according to facility procedures
  • Engages in self-assessment, peer review, completes mandatory education and competency assessments, and supports ongoing professional development
  • Practices in accordance with the legal definition of nursing in the State of Michigan, including provisions on delegation and supervision
  • Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload; scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission
  • Block scheduling is not considered
