Job Summary: Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) Frisco, Texas
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Cath Lab to support day shift operations within a specialized cardiovascular services unit. This role requires clinical competence in cath lab workflows, critical thinking, and the ability to work independently during scheduled and on-call coverage. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days; 7:30A-3:30P, MondayFriday, for 40.0 hours per week
• Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years Cath Lab experience
  • Ability to work independently with strong critical thinking
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • RN licensure required; candidate must bring license on the first day
  • Experience with Meditech required
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • MacLab monitoring experience (training may be available as applicable)
  • Ability to perform or support circulating roles for Electrophysiology (EP) procedures (training may be available as applicable)
• Additional Information:
  • On-call coverage is required, including 1113 call days per month with 2 weekends per month.
  • Coverage is also required for 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday, where applicable.
  • Typical procedures supported in the unit may include cardiac caths, TEE/CVNs, pacemaker implants, PVS, EP ablations, PE/DVT thrombectomies, and Lexiscan injections for nuc med stress tests.
  • The unit performs primarily cardiovascular procedures and does not currently perform many interventional radiology (IR) procedures.
