Job Summary:
Medical Surgical With Telemetry (MS Tele) Travel Nurse Elizabethtown, New York. This role provides travel nursing support on a Medical Surgical (MS) unit with Telemetry coverage, supporting patient care across scheduled shifts for an assignment lasting 1316 weeks. Candidates must bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights; 12 hours per shift; 40.0 hours per week. Schedule will be 3 x 12s one week and 3 x 12s and an 8H Shift the next, with a minimum of every other weekend and/or schedule adjusted to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) (American Heart Association (AHA))
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (American Heart Association (AHA))
  • National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) NIHSS required prior to start
  • Minimum of 1 year experience
  • Prior travel required
  • Charge experience required and will be performing in this capacity regularly
  • Electronic Health Record (Electronic Medical Record) (EPIC) experience from within the past 2 years (required and nonnegotiable)
  • New York (NY) nursing license, or proof of application with applied date (required in packet at time of submission)
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • EPIC experience as described in Required Qualifications
• Additional Information:
  • Assignment is 1316 weeks and travel is required.
  • Monday to Sunday coverage.
  • Bi-weekly orientations on Monday.
  • No block schedules for any reason.
  • Please note: public transportation is not accessible in this area; reliable transportation (personal vehicle or rental vehicle) is strongly recommended.
  • Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
