Description

Job Summary
Surgical Technician Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves performing a variety of technical functions to support surgical procedures within the operating room. The role requires maintaining sterile fields, managing supplies and equipment, and ensuring smooth surgical operations. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.

Job Details

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Certifications, Education, and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Surgical Technician program or equivalent; two or more years of Surgical Technician experience in a surgery setting; two or more years of pediatric operating room (OR) experience; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Schedule: 10-hour evening shift from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, on call during weekends and potentially weekday nights.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Surgical Technician program or equivalent; two or more years of Surgical Technician experience in a surgery setting; two or more years of pediatric OR experience; current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a Pediatric Operating Room setting.
Additional Information: This assignment may float between three campuses: Main, Arrowhead, and Avondale in the Phoenix metropolitan area. Flu vaccination is required from October through April; COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not mandatory. Anyone not vaccinated for either flu or COVID-19 will need to sign Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and wear masks during respiratory virus season.
