Job Summary: Medical Surgical Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (MS REHAB) Wausau, WI
The organization is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care on an inpatient rehabilitation unit. The role supports patients with a variety of rehabilitation needs, including stroke, trauma, debility, amputation, and cardiac conditions. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating, 12-hour variable shifts (6:00am6:30pm, 6:00pm6:30am), with every other weekend and holiday rotation; minimum hours per week: 48.
• Required Qualifications: Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (WI RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC); Associate Degree or Certificate; experience required in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Epic charting experience; Bachelors Degree.
• Additional Information: Inpatient rehab unit; patient ratio varies by shift (1:41:6 day shift; 1:8 nights). Primary care needs include stroke, trauma, debility, amputation, and cardiac. Float may be required to other inpatient units as needed. The contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours, which may occur in hour increments; this is not considered on-call. During flu season, flu and COVID vaccination refusal requires mask use at all times, per facility policy.
