Description
Medical Surgical With Telemetry Registered Nurse (MS Tele), Nights Sioux City, IA
A traveler Registered Nurse on the medical/surgical with telemetry unit serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team, providing professional/clinical knowledge and skills in the care and management of patients. This role supports patients who require overnight stays and may include post-operative care. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Nights (12 hours), minimum 36 hours per week; weekends every other
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) (AHA); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); current state license (Iowa); drivers license; successful completion of the required skills checklist within 1 year of submission; license verification; submission of work history/resume; submission of a supervisory reference (1) at the time of submission
- Preferred Qualifications: Epic experience; first-time traveler experience is acceptable
- Additional Information: Floating may be required within the same discipline across local campuses; a 1:5 staffing ratio is indicated
- On-call/Call Back: On-call status is noted; call back minimum time is specified
