Registered Nurse (Surgery) Thousand Oaks, CA

A Registered Nurse is needed to support the Surgery unit within the main campus setting. Responsibilities include providing patient care for surgical cases, supporting perioperative workflows, and participating in required on-call coverage as scheduled. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details

• Schedule: Days (shift options include 3/12-hour shifts or 4/10-hour shifts; one RN 06:4519:15, and one RN 06:4515:00 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays), with availability for some call and weekends; minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS); Certified Surgical Technologist (CST); minimum 2 years of experience in a tertiary facility; experience supporting trauma, orthopedics, spine, and total joints.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certified Operating Room Tech (ORT) experience is preferred where applicable.
• Additional Information: Call is taken after hours and on weekends; call expectations and schedule flexibility are described in facility fixed notes. The role includes floating between campuses as needed. Documentation is completed in Meditech.
