Description

Job Summary:
Emergency Room Nurse Aberdeen, Washington. This position involves providing urgent care and critical nursing services in an emergency department setting. The assignment is a 13-week contract for night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with 12-hour shifts totaling 36 hours per week and the potential for additional shifts. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day to meet licensing standards and verification requirements.

Job Details:

  • Position: Emergency Department Nurse
  • Location: Aberdeen, Washington
  • Shift: Night shift, 6:30 PM 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current Washington State nursing license or multi-state license, approved 6-hour suicide training, verification of demographics from Nursys, current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS). Knowledge of Meditech electronic medical record system is helpful but not required. Must have experience and knowledge as an Emergency Department nurse.
  • Additional Requirements: RTO (Request for Time Off) must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract. Candidates must have full availability for scheduling.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience and knowledge as an Emergency Department nurse, familiarity with Meditech EMR system.
  • Additional Information: The position is located near the Pacific Northwest beaches and the Olympic National Forest.
  • Submission Requirements: RTO must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract along with full availability for scheduling.
