Medical Surgical With Telemetry (MS Tele) Registered Nurse Englewood, CO
The healthcare provider is seeking a Medical Surgical With Telemetry Registered Nurse to support rapid response needs within a surgical robotics (Med/Surg) unit. The role involves providing post-operative assessments and care, managing pain therapies, and maintaining appropriate catheter care in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.
Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift (12 hours); minimum 48 hours per week. Night coverage may be required (includes 1 charge and staffing support for nurses and techs).
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) (must be included in the submission packet); medical/surgical and post-operative experience; Meditech experience; location: Englewood, Colorado; license required to be brought on the first day.
- Preferred Qualifications: GYN/Onc experience and urology experience.
- Responsibilities: Perform post-operative assessments and ongoing post-operative care; provide post-prostatectomy and post-hysterectomy care; support Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI); assist with pain management including PCA (patient-controlled analgesia) and epidurals; maintain Foley catheter care.
- Additional Information: Team-oriented, compassionate, and flexible personality traits are preferred to cope well in a fast-paced environment. No special scheduling restrictions or Return to Work (RTO) caps are specified after accepting.
